Edward Christie awarded the New Brunswick Instructor of the Year by IHEA-Canada |
The International Hunter Education Association-Canada (IHEA-Canada), New Brunswick Instructor of the Year was awarded on Nov 13 to Edward Christie from Harvey who has been teaching Firearms Safety / Hunter Education courses as a volunteer instructor and participating in mentoring programs for young shooters and hunters for 46 years. |

New Benches built by NBCC Carpentry Students |
The Village took delivery of two very sturdy benches built by the carpentry students at NBCC Woodstock. The project was arranged by instructor, Garth Cleghorn and all materials were purchased locally at Watson's Home Building Centre. They are currently outside the Village Office if you want to try them out! |

Chip Sealing Update |
The bottom lift of chip seal was completed on Friday, Aug 23 and the chip sealing crew did the manhole adjustments on Aug 26. They will be back to put the top lift of chip seal on August 30th or sometime after labor day. |

Chip Sealing |
The Village will be doing Chip Sealing work on Hanselpacker Road, Poplar Lane and a section of Candlelight Lane next week. Work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 21 and will take three days. |

MADD Memorial Bench |
The MADD Greater Fredericton Area Chapter has presented our community with a granite MADD Memorial Bench . This is the 9th Bench they've placed in the Greater Fredericton Area over the last 3 years. The bench was made and installed by SMET monuments. The bench is in Davis Park so please go and have a seat! |

Village Clean up Day is Monday, May 27th |
Village Clean-up day will be Monday May 27, 2018 We will not pick up tires, liquid paint, hazardous waste, car parts, petroleum products, wet cell batteries, appliances or electronics but pretty much anything goes. Pickup will begin at 7:30am so have your stuff out at the curb early. |
